Description
24" (61 cm.) x 24". Posed upon the square circus platform are a grand variety of circus performers, animals and props. The wooden animals, each with original painted finish and painted eyes unless indicated, include donkey, giraffe, white horse with platform, single hump camel (one ear missing), single hump camel (glass eyes), double hump camel, black bear, elephant with tusks and snout, monkey with original hat and costume, male lion, tiger, and seal (glass eyes). Performers include three clowns, black dude ringleader, and bisque head lady acrobat. Accessories include wire ring cage, two yellow platforms, and one square base with ring. Good to very good condition overall. American, Schoenhut, circa 1910.
