11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass side-glancing eyes, thick upper eyeliner, short curly lashes, dash brows, little pug nose, closed mouth with impish smile, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 253 G.B. (script) Germany A M. DRMR. Comments: Armand Marseille for George Borgfeldt, the googly was created for the American market, circa 1918, the smaller version of the 253 model was marketed as Nobbi Kid. Value Points: appealing size has a charming blend of shyness and mischief, excellent bisque, original body, body finish, wig.
