11" (28 cm.) One-piece carved wooden figure of young lady with sculpted large blue coiffe decorated with painted flowers, sculpted black hair, painted features, sculpted gown with painted decorations and blue beads, with little doll in blue gown attached to her side. Condition: generally excellent, chip to wood at right side of coiffe. Comments: Germany, circa 1830. Value Points: rare figure with fine original painting, the carved and painted details extend around the entire back of doll.
