Wax-over-paper mache shoulderhead, blue glass sleep eyes, eye shading, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig on muslin cap, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms. Condition: very good, dark vertical line on right side of head under wig. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: the most appealing doll has rarer sleep eyes, original wig, original body, and wearing beautiful original ice-blue silk gown with velvet ribbon banding, undergarments, leather slippers, jewelry.
