11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with solid dome, painted black side-parted hair waved across his forehead, painted facial features, very large painted brown side-glancing googly eyes with all-around painted lashes, tiny nose, "O" shaped tiny mouth, commercial pink muslin body, composition hands, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, finger tips worn. Marks: 9238 a (head) Germany (body stamp). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, the delightful character was created in many variations including all-bisque figurines. Value Points: rare shoulderhead variation of the googly figure.
