Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair waved away from her face into soft curls at the back of head, decorated with a painted Dresden corsage of flowers, petals and leaves, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, sculpted bodice with rolled collar and beaded trim, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms and legs, painted coral boots with black heels and buttons, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, Marks: 123-2. Comments: C.F. Kling, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include maker's mark, glass eyes, fancy bodice, fancy coiffure with Dresden flowers.
