23" (58 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head with rose-tinted complexion, plump cheeks, blue glass eyes in half-moon shape, tinted defintion of facial features, closed mouth, blonde mohair inserted hair, softly stuffed muslin body with stitch-jointing, poured wax lower arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, two fingers repaired. Comments: English, possibily Montanari, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful child with rosy complexion, original body and limbs, beautiful antique costume, undergarments, shoes, bonnet.
