Description
8" (20 cm.) x 10". Arranged against a royal blue background is a set-back arched arrangement of tiny cut-paper flowers of various types in a paper mache urn with gilt paper trim; additional flowers and tiny gilt buds decorate the background, and the entire arrangement is under glass, with gilded wooden frame, and tiny letters "Andenken" (souvenir). Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, the presentation was created as a Valentine gift. Value Points: beautiful and meticulously-detailed scene, in original frame.
