10" (25 cm.) All-wooden giraffe, double-jointing of neck, glass inset eyes, open mouth, painted teeth, wooden horns, leather ears, jointing of legs, spotted rope tail, shaded tan/cream painted finish with brown patterned spots, white underbelly and lower hooves. Excellent condition. Comments: Schoenhut, earliest model of the giraffe, 1905, from Teddy's Adventures in Africa series, the original finish is well-preserved.
