17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue upper glancing eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with upturned lips and smiling expression, row of painted teeth, deeply-impressed cheek dimples, laughter lines at lip corners, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique party dress, undergarments, stockings, aqua kidskin boots, along with antique coat and woven cloche. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 151 S&H 7 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, from their rare art character series of only three models (150, 151, and 152) which were created in very limited numbers. Value Points: the rare model has especially fine sculpting of delighted childhood expression, enhanced by finest bisque with enhancing decorative glaze.
