16" (41 cm.) All firmly-pressed black wool felt with very chubby swivel head, applied felt eye whites and lips, tinted nostrils, black shoe-button eye pupils, black wiry frizzed hair, very plump torso, jointing at shoulders and hips, short plump legs. Condition: very good, moth holes on right leg. Comments: Lenci, the doll was shown in the first Lenci advertisement of 1920, and is one of the rare earliest models. Value Points: original reed skirt that is interwoven with felt ribbons, wooden necklace with three carved wooden animals, carved animal earrings; with original paper label.
