4 1/2" (11 cm.) l. papeterie. A firm-sided writing ensemble with embossed red leather design and gold lettering "Papeterie" has slant lid which hinges open to reveal well-fitted contents including miniature stationery and miniature bone-handled desk utensils including letter opener, seal, pen and blotter. Along with a porcelain dog resting upon a red and black flannel blotter. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875.
