19" (48 cm.) All-wooden doll with socket head, deeply carved face, intaglio brown sculpted eyes with white eye dots, black painted eyeliner, fringed brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, spring-jointed wooden body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17th, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine detail of sculpting, original finish, wearing original knit Union suit, dress, leather shoes with holes in feet for posing.
