Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey and brown eyeshadow, fringed brows, painted lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette mohair side-parted hair, jointed felt arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci made in Italian (paper label). Comments: Lenci, model 70/17 from their 1933 catalog, the wistful-faced lad wears his original costume comprising black felt jacket with insignia on sleeve, blue felt tie, black felt cap with tassel and metal emblem, sea-green felt shorts, knit stockings and black shoes. Value Points: rare model, especially in this size, with complete costume.
