Description
Of black silk satin, the dress features a fitted bodice with inset center panel of sewn-down gold silk pleats which narrow at the waist, coat sleeves with shoulder pleats and set-in panels of gold pleats at the cuffs, set-in waist with self-piping and gathered skirt. Gold metal buttons and hand-made button holes at the back. For 18"-20" doll. 4" shoulder width. 12" overall length. Circa 1885.
