Description
8" (20 cm.) All-wooden elephant with jointed neck and legs, jointed ankles, jointed trunk with rubber turned-up tip, tusks, large leather ears, rope tail, painted bottom lip. Excellent condition. Comments: Schoenhut, 1909, the slimmer body elephant was designed specifically for the Adventures in Africa series and is quite rare to find; this example is impeccably preserved.
