17" (43 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head of adult man with slender face, blue enamel inset eyes, inserted hair, brows, moustache and sideburns, closed mouth, cloth body with leather lower arms and legs. Condition: good conditiion, some overall age wear. Comments: probably French, early 19th century. Value Points: the rare model wears original purple and ivory silk Marquis costume with embroidered detail, has rare inserted hair moustache, sideburns, and brows.
