Description
14" (36 cm.) Paper mache head with tinted rosy gofun finish, gentle expression, glass eyes, black human hair, carved wooden hands and feet, with bald pate indicating youth and with sidelocks and tied topknot, painted gloves and legs, including striped stockings, and wearing elaborate paper lacquer armor, fur-tipped boots, and carrying a fur-edged sword and decorated lettered banner. Excellent condition. Mid-1900s.
