A wooden-framed two room kitchen comprises the cooking room and the pantry or breakfast room, has original painted blue/white patterned wainscot, black and white checkered floor, and original furnishings, including 18"w. hanging plate rack, corner cupboard with two paneled doors, another corner cupboard with 2 doors, 3 drawers and set-back shelves with shaped edging, 14"w. cupboard with 2 upper glass doors, 2 work tables, bench, butcher table, and faux-brick stove with built-in center chimney. Equipment and utensils include an unusual wooden figural boot scraper; voluminous pewter or metal such as tankards, oil lamp, molds, milk cans, candlesticks, bowl, plates, and covered tureen; treenware such as Scandinavian ladle, bucket and plates; as well as copper pots, pans, molds, tea kettle, wooden-handled steamer; other utensils such as iron cleaner with ornately shaped upper edge, funnel, tongs, slaw cutter, 8-mold muffin pan, porcelain jugs, and various pattern glass serving dishes.
