14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, long painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, accented eye corners, closed mouth with beautifully-shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Paris 5. Comments: Henri Delcroix, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model with large expressive eyes, fine quality of bisque, original body and body finish, and wearing original costume with blue velvet trim, velvet Marquis hat, and black leather shoes impressed with "D" in circle.
