Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) h. Barney. Each is all-wooden including googly-eyed man with swivel head and attached wooden tophat, painted features with large round googly eyes, all wooden body with large black feet, and original factory costume, with original paper label on feet bottom "copyright 1922 by King Features". Along with wooden horse with jointing at neck and legs, and having painted googly eyes and harness, with yellow felt-flannel blanket stamped Spark Plug. Very good condition, some paint wear on neck of horse. Schoenhut, depicting the popular comic strip series characters, circa 1923.
