10" (25 cm.) All-wooden hippopotamus, ball-jointed neck, glass eyes, open mouth with painted teeth, leather ears and tail, jointed legs, original dark brown painted finish. Excellent condition. Schoenhut, 1909, from Teddy's Adventures in Africa series, an early Series I model in perfectly-preserved condition.
