13" (33 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque arms to above the elbows. Condition: generally excellent, very sturdy body, left hand middle finger broken at knuckle. Marks: 1. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: beautiful doll with lovely pale bisque, rare bisque arms and hands, wearing superb lavender silk and grey gown, undergarments, leather heeled boots, purple hair ornaments, with purple velvet dance card and purple beaded necklace.
