15" (38 cm.) The wooden toilette table in the Louis XV style has graceful cabriole legs and bombe-shaped frame,white marble top,two hidden handkerchief drawers,hinged oval mirror in bracketed frame. The original paper label of Aux Enfants Sages appears on the mirror back and inside one drawer; the label bears the insignia of Benon & Duvernoy,owners of the store during the 1860s. Along with a porcelain vase of silk flowers. French,circa 1860. Rare early toilette table with original label.
