14" (36 cm.) l. carriage. 10" doll. A firm-sided doll carriage with marbled paper cover to simulate leather has two larger back spoked wheels and two smaller front wheels, with folding canvas sunshade, curved handle with wooden handgrip. Resting inside the carriage is a porcelain taufling baby with sculpted brown hair and gilt-edged brown hair, painted features, taufling style body with porcelain lower limbs. Condition: restoration to back of doll head and lower torso. Comments: mid/late 1800s. Value Points: rare style of carriage.
