14" (36 cm.) h. 17"l. Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, carton torso, metal upper arms and legs, carton lower legs, bisque forearms. The doll is holding the wooden handles of woven pony cart with double wheels, folding sunshade, and when wound, she walks forward, pulling the cart along. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1078 S&H Simon and Halbig. Comments: Roullet et Decamps, circa 1900. Value Points: original unplayed with condition, the doll wearing her elaborate rose silk costume with black velvet trim, apron, and original nanny coiffe.
