Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: bisque excellent, body is original albeit overall crazing. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: fine quality of bisque and painting on the closed mouth doll with wistful expression.
