5" (13 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, narrow side-glancing eyes, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with wide smiling grin, hint of teeth, blonde mohair wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, modeled bent elbows, defined pointing finger, painted white stockings to above the knees, flat black one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JIO c. 1920 41 (incised) Didi Re US Pat. Off. Copr. J.I. Orsini 1920 Pat. Appl'd For (paper). Comments: painted eye variation of the highly characterized doll from the Orsini trilogy, circa 1920, made in Germany. Value Points: finest quality of bisque, painting, original body label.
