16" (41 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque shoulderhead with solid dome, painted blonde boyish hair, deeply sculpted features with narrow blue squinting eyes, scowling wrinkles at brows and eye corners, painted lashes, closed mouth in wailing expression, shaded lips and tongue, kid pin-jointed body, bisque forearms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: notably realistic sculpting of the most unhappy young lad, enhanced by choice bisque and painting.
