Description
2" (5 cm.) - 4 1/2". Each of the all-bisque Kewpies depicts an imaginative rendering of the fantastical figure, each with blonde forelock and topknot, blue wings, black side-glancing eyes. Condition: generally excellent, tail of cat is restored. Comments: Germany, circa 1912, from designs by Rose O'Neill. Value Points: included is standing Kewpie with money bag; pair of standing Kewpies standing against an upturned book and holding another book which they are reading; seated Kewpie with tabby cat; and seated Kewpie with jack o lantern.
