Description
8" (20 cm.) Each is all-composition doll with socket head, mohair wig, painted side-glancing eyes, closed mouth, five piece baby body, and wearing original flowered romper set with bonnets and brass name tags. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dionne Alexander (dolls and costumes). Comments: Madame Alexander, portrait dolls of the celebrity Dionne Quintuplets, circa 1935. Value Points: the dolls are presented in their original wooden swing with name plate on the front bar, and a striped canvas shade, each with tagged costume, and having added vintage celluloid button depicting the child.
