18" (46 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head depicting a different face on either side of head which could be swiveled to reveal one or the other,each with deeply sculpted intaglio eyes,painted features,closed mouth,auburn mohair wig,composiiton and wooden ball-jointed body,great antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8704. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: very fine detail of sculpting,one doll with squinting eyes and having modeled tongue tip,and the other has deeply intaglio side-glancing eyes,closed smiling mouth with beaded teeth,and impressed dimples.
