Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted boyish hair in soft swirls, painted facial features, deep blue eyes, one-stroke brows, black upper eyeliner, closed mouth modeled as though open with painted row of teeth, five-piece paper mache body with painted black stockings and brown one-strap shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R.A. (illegible numbers). Comments: Recknagel, circa 1915. Value Points: rare model from the firm's art character series, with painted eyes.
