Description
4" (10 cm.) -5" 7" overall. Featuring six characters with cloth faces, painted features, floss hair, along with three felt flannel animals, all with posable armature bodies, posable feet, metal rods with circle base, and each has detailed original costume and accessories indicative of their role in the fabled childhood novel. Included are Alice (at two ages), The Queen of Hearts, The Knave of Hearts with plate of tarts, the King, Mad Hatter, Grasshopper, White Rabbit, and black snake. Seven with original paper label "Made in Germany USZ". Near mint condition, in original box. Along with original theatre, folds flat in original box for storage. Germany, BAPS, late 1940s.
