13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with pale complexion, brilliant cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, softly-stuffed kid body with shapely torso, kid-over wooden upper arms, porcelain arms to above the elbows, gusset-jointing at hips, wooden ball-jointing at knees, torso pull string designed to attach to knee joints allowing the doll to hold a seated pose. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mme Rohmer Brevete SGDG Paris (oval stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1865. Value Points: the petite poupee with maker's mark has lovely bisque, original body, and owns her original trunk with blue paper lining and a bounty of antique costumes, including brown linen dress with matching jacket and having rick-rack trim, ivory silk dress with red and black striped edging, bright blue linen beach dress with mariner collar at the back, cream/black woven woolen dress, chemise, two petticoats, pants, stockings with garters, black slippers, three various hats, mohair "ermine" collar, and more.
