18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, very large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, lushly-painted dark lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils of elegantly-shaped nose with pointy-tip, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, blonde-mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing antique green velvet and silk dress, undergarments, leather boots signed with imprint of full figure of a doll. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Paris 7. Comments: Henri Delcroix,circa 1888. Value Points: bebes by this firm are extremely rare to find, this example with very expressive wide-eyed face enhanced by lovely painting, original body and body finish, lovely costume.
