16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig in elaborately braided chignon, composition and wooden ball-jointed lady body with shapely bosom, waist and derriere. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1159 Simon & Halbig Germany 5 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: lovely bisque, original wig, original lady body with fine original finish, wearing original lace-trimmed lingerie.
