13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, very deep paperweight eyes in rare ice blue color, painted dark lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, dimpled chin and lip corners, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique dress, undergarments, stockings, shoes, and very fine early bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose E 4 J (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1884. Value Points: splendid blue eyes compliment the beautiful painting of lips and eye shadow, original body and body finish.
