8" (20 cm.) Each has solid domed bisque socket head with brown complexion, glass sleep eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, five-piece composition body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach Koppelsdorf 399 14/0 DRGM Germany (dark brown complexion); Heubach Koppelsdorf 60-15 DRGM Germany (diamond plaid costume and turban); A.M. Germany 341 2/0/K (pink turban). Comments: Germany, circa 1920, the thematic "island dolls" were presented by various companies in costumes and jeweled accessories of their region. Value Points: pristine original condition, each with original costume.
