21" (53 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, plump face, cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with slightly-smiling expression, center accent line, brunette human hair over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, one finger missing. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: the brilliant cobalt eyes contrast the delicate bisque with soft blush, fine antique gown. leather shoes signed C.M.
