Description
The brass over silver box with embossed decorations and curved shape has a colorful enameled lid with floral inlays centering an oval lid with hand-painted scene of a castle and lake, with people in the foreground and mountains in the background. The colorful bird has realistic Fusee driven animations that recur throughout the length of the bird song. There are six different shifts of a cluster of right diferent cams. The box is marked "Charles Bruguier" (both inscribed and stamped on bottom of mechanism) and serial number 111.
Movements: The bird turns side to side, its head also turns (independently from the body), its lower beak opens and closes, and both wings and the tail are animated.
