Description
Of pale rose cotton chambray, the drop-waist dress has a square-cut neckline, coat sleeves with pleated and lace-trimmed cuffs, sewn-down pleats at the center panel which extend down the entire front of the dress and are framed by wide bands of embroidered lace; with two overlapping rows of narrow pleats at the lower skirt. The sewn-down pleats are repeated at the back centered by pearl buttons and handmade buttonholes, and the dress is further trimmed with ivory grosgrain bows. For 24"-26" doll. 6" shoulder width. 16" overall length. Circa 1880.
