Description
11" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brush-stroked hair, painted facial features, blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, curvy brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined tongue, outlined lips, carton torso, hinged upper legs, carton lower legs, bisque forearms. When the key at back torso is wound the doll totters side to side as though walking. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 151. Comments: German bisque by Hertel and Schwab, on original body by Roullet et Decamps, circa 1915. Value Points: the well-preserved doll wears its original dotted Swiss dress, undergarments, bonnet, and carries baby bottle in knit casing.
