Description
32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: M 1/2 made in Germany 16 1/2 (head) Excelsior Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque, complexion and painting, original wig, pate, body and body finish, beautiful original costume.
