19" (48 cm.) Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with very pale complexion, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig in beautiful original braided coiffure, kid poupee body with gusset jointing at elbows, hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C (or 6). Comments: attributed to Blampoix, circa 1865. Value Points: brilliant cobalt eyes complement the delicate complexion, very fine wig, fine antique white muslin gown with delicate embroidery, undergarments, blue kidskin ankle boots
