Description
7" (18 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso with oversized head and bald pate, painted round eyes with black pupils and upper eyeliner, unusually painted blue irises fill the entire eyes, rosy button-shaped nose, inverted V-shaped lips, sculpted white smock, jointed bisque arms and legs, sculpted blue slippers with ribbons. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Copyright by Chas. Twelvetrees Hebee-Shebee Trademark (original paper label). Comments: Germany, designed by the American illustrator Charles Twelvetrees, circa 1920s. Value Points: rare larger size, with original paper label and original blue shoe ribbons.
