13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted and sculpted short brown boyish hair, intaglio small blue eyes, well-defined sculpting of pouty features, closed mouth with downcast lips, very plump cheeks, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 7759 Heubach (square mark) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: very expressive features of wistful-faced child, especially notable on this smaller size.
