Description
19" (48 cm.) x 14". A young girl in which dress with blue sash, holding a bouquet of spring flowers, is seated in a garden alongside a sunlit pond; in the background of large trees are a man and woman. Ink script on the reverse "One of life's sunny hours, painted Jan 18, 1871 for little Helen B. Babcock by her aunt Helen H.M. Wetsell". Excellent condition.
