9" (23 cm.) Of mahogany-finished wood the dressing stand rests upon a pedestal base with rounded base that is inlaid with carved bone slats; the stand has a single drawer with dove-tailed construction and hinged brackets support a velvet-lined display frame designed to display a lady's pocket watch when not in use. Included is a lady's pocket watch with beautiful case. Excellent condition, watch is decorative only. French, mid-1800s.
