21" (53 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with delicate peach-toned complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded lips, blonde painted baby hair with delicate stippling, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lori 2 (incised) Geschutz S&Co Germany (green stamp). Comments: Swaine and Co., circa 1915. Value Points: rare model with exquisite painting and detail of modeling, original body and body finish, fine antique costume.
